If you are an aspiring entrepreneur, who is focused on making money and getting your finances in order, I have good news for you.
You can take charge of your life and control your circumstances if you financial plan in place.
Nothing fancy, just a straight forward way of making sure you have enough income to take care of your needs while still building a business of your own.
Since beginning my entrepreneur journey, there is one job in particular that I have done that has really helped me out.
And I'm confident that it has the potential to help you as well.
You may already have a 9 to 5 job that you regularly attend to pay the bills.
But if you are looking for an additional side hustle to make life a bit more easier, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are perfect.
With these services, you get the liberty of selecting when and for how long you want to work.
Whether you have a pile of bills that you need to catch up on or you want some extra spending money for the weekend, with Uber you can choose exactly how much you want to work in order to fulfill your needs.

So why do I think one of the best jobs for aspiring entrepreneurs is driving for Uber or Lyft?
I know this may sound bias but driving with Uber has literally been a LIFESAVER for me and a side hustle that has come to the rescue more than once.
It was a way for me to have money on demand when financial situations came up instead of having to wait for the typical paycheck every other week to deposit.
For aspiring and first time entrepreneurs, having an extra source of income serves as a safety net when you are getting started.
Knowing how to make more money on demand is crucial for the success of your business.
Even if you don’t have a regular job, your extra income from Uber can help support your living while you pursue your entrepreneurial endeavors.
It also gives you the necessary leverage you need to focus on your goals which require ample time, energy, and sometimes money to achieve.
Another reason why Uber is great for entrepreneurs is the amount of networking it has to offer while on the job.
From my experience alone while driving Uber over the past 2 years I have met successful CEOs, politicians, assistants to Mayors, astronauts, international pilots, professional photographers, and so many more interesting people.
Having a wide variety of people come in and out of my car on a daily basis gave me a unique chance to prospect for my business without having to go out of my way to reach out to these people.
What I liked most was that it was never a forced conversation.
Once you start talking to your riders, they naturally ask a list of typcial questions, one being:
"So, what else do you do besides driving for Uber/Lyft?"
This is a perfect time to explain what my business is and potentially set up a future meeting.
With a bit of luck I have even been able to score new paying customers this way.
Worst case scenario they are able to provide referrals that I can later follow up with when I am not driving.
While I would totally recommend Uber or any similar ride share services as a side job, I would not recommend you make it your primary full time job unless it's absolutely necessary.
There are just too many factors that you cannot control that will leave you struggling if your car is involved. Unforeseen accidents, maintenance, and injuries can leave you without a paycheck for weeks.
Trust me...I know.
Don't put all of your eggs in one basket.
Uber or Lyft could even decide to change their fares and surcharges resulting in a smaller paycheck for you.
These changes could really effect your quality of life if you are not careful.
At the end of the day, it’s really about having control over your finances, and your life.
That's why I still believe one of the best jobs for aspiring entrepreneurs is driving with Uber.
They allow you to have more control.
The more control you have, the better choices you are able to make.
So whether you are looking for a part time job to supplement your full time or a part time job in general, find something that you can do that will help you stay in control of your finances.
You can even work from home as long as you stay on top of your bills and make sure you are making enough money to live and have everything under your control.
This stability in your life and in your finances will help you stay focused on your ideas and the growth of your business.
